Well folks, I haven't "spammed" here about classes for a while, but boating season is upon us!
If you were born after 12/31/1985 and plan to operate any motorized watercraft in Nebraska this year, you will need to have completed a boating safety course at some point in your life.
The Nebraska course is available in three formats: 6-hour classroom course, 2/3-hour online study with in-person review and test, and 100% online.
The class calendar can be found under the "Boating Education" link at www.boatsafenebraska.org where you will also find a link to the online course (3rd-party).
If you took the class when you were younger and lost your card, free replacements are available through our Lincoln boating office: 402-471-5462 Cards never expire, like Hunter Ed.
If you have questions, post here, email scott.eveland@nebraska.gov or give me a call 308-289-0017
Thank you,
Scott Eveland
