    Fishing is Fun! & Crofton Community Club Announce-
    Kids Fishing Clinic to be held on Friday- October 26th, 2018

    Crofton, N.E., September 20th, 2018 The Nebraska Walleye Association Kids Fishing Clinic Charity along with the Crofton Community Club announced today that there will be a kids fishing clinic held on Friday, October 26th, at C.J.'s at the lake, north of Crofton Nebraska.
    All Children (ages 5-15) are encouraged to sign up for this free fishing clinic. Check-in for the clinic will begin at 4:15 p.m., with the workshop being held from 4:30 p.m.to 5:30 p.m.

    The Nebraska Walleye Association(NWA) will be having a Walleye Tournament at Lewis & Clark on Saturday-October 27th. The rules meeting will be on Friday- October 26th at 6:00pm, at C.J’s at the lake. That is why the kids clinic will be held there beforehand.

    Register for this event by October 24th to guarantee a spot for the clinic as this is limited to only 50 participants. To register for this clinic, Contact: City of Crofton, Manager-Charlie Hendrix or Clerk-Marla Wortmann 402-388-4766. We will hold a spot for children who are pre-registered. Please make sure they attend, as space is limited and other children who could have enjoyed this clinic may have been turned away due to capacity limits. Parents are encouraged to attend.


    Certified Aquatic Education Fishing Instructors from the Nebraska Walleye Association Fishing Clinics Charity, Inc., Nebraska Game and Parks and tournament fisherman will be there to teach everything children want to know about fishing including casting, knot tying, bait, tackle, water safety and fish identification and anatomy. All clinic participants will receive a certificate, fishing rod and reel and other items free.


    Sponsors for this event include: Cabela’s, the Nebraska Walleye Association, Nebraska Game and Parks, C.J.'s at the lake, and the Crofton Community Club.
