    Fishing is Fun! & Crofton Community Club Announce-
    Kids Fishing Clinic to be held on Saturday, July 15th

    Crofton, N.E., July 1, 2017 – The Nebraska Walleye Association Kids Fishing Clinic Charity along with the Crofton Community Club announced today that there will be a Kids fishing clinic held on Saturday, July 15th at the Lewis & Clark State Recreation Area-Weigand Marina Boat Ramp.

    All Children (ages 5-15) are encouraged to sign up for this free fishing clinic. Check-in for the clinic will begin at 4 p.m. after the Nebraska Walleye Fishing Tournament, with the workshop being held from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    Register for this event by July 12th to guarantee a spot for the clinic as this is limited to only 50 participants. To register for this clinic, Contact: City of Crofton, Manager-Charlie Hendrix or Clerk-Diane Allen 402-388-4766. We will hold a spot for children who are pre-registered. Please make sure they attend, as space is limited and other children who could have enjoyed this clinic may have been turned away due to capacity limits. Parents are encouraged to attend.

    Certified Aquatic Education Fishing Instructors from the Nebraska Walleye Association Fishing Clinics Charity, Inc., Nebraska Game and Parks and tournament fisherman will be there to teach everything children want to know about fishing including casting, knot tying, bait, tackle, water safety and fish identification and anatomy. All clinic participants will receive a certificate, fishing rod and reel and other items free. After the workshop, there will be fishing in the lake with lots of fish to catch.
