dont those look real? Those are all dekes.

Birds sure didnt cooperate like we wanted them to. But the ones that came in sure did hit the water HARD. :zsoproud:

out the front of the blind on Big Island South in March for snows

    The Kerny Boy

Some of the birds. John had already left with some.

neighbor boy with his first ever bird. Got him hooked into hunting now. He wants to buy my extra gun I let him borrow to shoot it. Shot it in his face in the dekes all by himself. The guys let him have first draw at it.

    crazy looking juvie bird

Keith S., Gold Hunter Sadie HRCH, and Kyle "the chia pet" tearin em up

Last 2 birds of the year for me. Kyle and I waited all day long hanging out in the layouts for these 2 birds right near sundown as we are picking up. Was sure a memorable moment. Also gave me a new idea to try for this year.

figured id throw this pic in as I just like it. Bailey Mae picked up another ribbon in the EVHRC hunt test. Not bad for a swamp collie. 8)

That dokken dummy in Bailey's mouth looks awfully familiar

                Blue-phase ross?

Not positive but possible ! Did not know about the blue phase rarity at the time and took my knife to it :zbghead: :znono:

South, so tell us. How does a one-in-a-million blue ross taste? :zbghead: :zbghead:

South - That picture is actually of a blue/ross cross....

                            The giveaways are:

It has a slight grin patch where a pure ross will have none at all. Plus it is clearly not straight where the upper mandible meets the feathers another great indication of a snow goose.

Here is a pic of what one would look like......

                            Eyes to the skies.......

                              Dont remind me:zbghead:

I remember its size at the time was way smaller then most i had seen. Like a mallard. It was pretty shot up.

O well guess i will have the next one mounted :zsick:
