    Late season decoys

So im curious what the forum thinks. Catching turkeys headed towards roost in evening late season. What decoy setup would you use?

Not sure about going to roost but having a turkey fan with ya is a good idea.

I like to know what I am dealing with in late season because the wrong decoys will send the wrong bird heading the other direction.

If you know you have a dominant tom, maybe a jake decoy, and maybe one hen.

If you are working with sub-dominant birds, maybe just a hen decoy, or maybe not even that.

There is some great advice here:

I've always had great luck this time of year with no decoy and just a call.....that being said I agree with having the fan along for those really dominant birds.

Had jakes and a Tom nose to nose with my Jake decoy last week.
