We had an EXCELLENT turnout of those that came to fish as well as a good number of campers taking advantage of this NGPC Program.

Fort Kearny is our last Family/Community Fishing Program of our season. We will again consider a fall Trout Family Fishing Program in October after the annual troot stockings in the Central Nebraska area, depending on the availability of Volunteers available for assistance. Stay tuned!

Speaking of Volunteers, we had an excellent turnout there as well. Thank you to YFI's Ron McKown from GI and Kearney's Wes Kellogg, and a fellow forum member Hank Lindner and his son Johnathan from Broken Bow, who were camping at the SRA. NGPC Kearney office's Keith Koupal made an appearance and rumor has it he got some worm dirt on his fingers... HA!

The man that began with the Family Fishing Nebraska Program by driving the ONE FFN Trailer ACROSS NEBRASKA (we now have several placed strategically across the State) made the trip from Seward "for the Family Fishing Night" and to do some camping with his young family! It is ALWAYS GREAT to visit with Matt Gruntorad!
