    Report Zorinsky on 4/25/2019

We went out to Zorinsky yesterday and fished from 4pm - 8 pm. It was slow. We started out trying to catch bass and could not get any so we started trolling flicker shads. I had something huge on, but I lost it. When I reeled my lure in, there was a huge scale on my hook. I was going to put a picture of it on here to see if it could be identified, but I lost it. Too me, it smelled like it came off of a bass and it was about the size of my thumbnail and was mostly clear with some an area of color on it. My brother ended up catching a small crappie and a decent walleye and that was it. 62.0 degrees was the warmest water we found and we did see a decent amount of fish around 10 feet. I am not sure how people catch bass when the water is 45 or so. Hopefully the bite turns on soon (the weather this weekend probably will not help).
