    Duck Creek Dam

    Hey Marty

My wife shared with me your post about the youth clinic(s) you want to hold down here. I'm in Neb. City. Thought I'd make a post here because I know Jthod is down in this area too.

You want to share some more information with us? I know I'll be at the lake trying to learn it all year.

Many of you in southeast Nebraska have been looking forward to the opening of a new reservoir, Duck Creek, located near Peru.  Specifically the reservoir was labeled as Duck Creek #12, but it looks like the Nemaha Natural Resource District is going to call it Duck Creek Recreation Area. NOTE: You must have an NRD permit to use this area. $15 at the Tecumseh office or online. Ouch!

I'm sure you could do a day permit at the entrance too, it's like $5. Kirkman's Cove and Iron Horse are the same way, NRD permit needed.

Sure Browie! A flyer is coming out soon. The first date is May 30th at 5:30 PM and each following Wednesday at that time through June. Come on out and help if you want. And also, if you want to help to spread the word that would be great! Thanks!
