Never done this personally, but found a few sites that say to do it like this (few other variations as well but most are consistent with this), adjust time to steak thickness! Let us know how it goes! Im hungry now...
![]() 1-1/4" steaks Smoke-cook steaks at 240F for about 1 hour. Check for doneness. When done to your satisfaction, remove from smoker. Salt the steaks and serve or wrap immediately. Smoke-cook about 30 minutes for finishing on the grill. Recommended wood: hickory or mesquite |

Did the steaks at 225 for 2 hours. It was a bit too long but they were good nonetheless. They got a little dry. I also did some baked potatoes which were really good and threw in a can of beans for the last hour. I thought it turned out good and the wife liked it as well.
