This spring there was lots of talk about deer bacon. Someone said they knew the recipe but wouldnt give it out because some locker plant had it.
I would like a recipe for deer bacon. I dont want to comtete with any darn locker place, I just want it for my own use. ![]() IF anyone has a recipe for this deer bacon and would share it I would be most thankfull! Thank you Tuff AKA Eldon |

I don't have a recipe but you can get a couple different cure/mixes from:

I found a Hobarts in Lincoln on Lake street. I plan on going up there today and checking the spice mixes out. While there I most likely will get some parts for my Hobart grinder. Deer season is near and we have permits for 6 deer.

I know how to make deer bacon, I've just never given it a shot yet. No time like the present, I think once I get a doe in the bag I'm going to give it a shot.
