Came up with this one a couple years ago and everyone seems to enjoy it, so give it a try.

2 packs of cream cheese
10 peppers of your choice (I like hot ones)
2 pheasant breasts
2 packs of bacon

On a cutting board slice the pheasant into strips about 1/2 an inch wide by 3 inches long.

Slice the peppers into about the same size.

cut off a slice of the cream cheese.

Now put all three together and wrap them in a slice of bacon.

Set your oven to 400 and cook them for about 30 minutes or until the bacon is done.

I use a broiler so the grease from the bacon can run off.

2 birds is enough to feed my family of 6.

Enjoy!

Sounds delicious (like delicious enough I feel like trying it right now, after midnight, in the rain). One question, doesn't the cream cheese not melt out after 30 minutes at 400 degrees?

These are good, I've had them.

Wha't the recipe for the pheasant nuggets, (turkey fryer) MadDog?

I thought it would too but wrapped in that bacon it'll stay in there...

I use the cheapest thinnest bacon I can find so I can stretch it to wrap the entire thing with one piece. I'm thinking of throwing some together for tomorrow now too!

Pheasant nuggets? It's been a while but now you have me hungry Steve!

Whip up some pancake mix with half a can of your favorite beer...

Then dice up your pheasant into small quarter size chunks, dip them in the beer batter and then bread them with your favorite seasoning.

I used my turkey fryer at about 350-375 and fried them for about 3-4 minutes while I finished the rest of the beer.

These are great cause as soon as they were done I threw in a bag of tots and we had a meal for 10 in about 10 minutes.

-10 if you were out of the wind! It was like -200 out in the open! I remember three phrases from that weekend.... Bitterly Cold Winds - Arctic Blast and Who's ringing that bell?

Man we gotta do that again sometime, I'll find the pics from that one and post a couple up here. I think there's one of you with an icicle mustache!

I have those pics too. I gotta find them. Tanaka's daughter, man, I thought she was really going to die. Never been anywhere less then like 45 degrees in her life!

Remember all the sick coons we killed out hunting that Sunday morning?

I remember three coons that you killed cause I forgot to load my gun!!!

I don't recall them being too sick, I think if they'd have had the chance they'd just as soon eaten us!
