So, Andrew.
What are these awards for?? ![]() What is a qualification(s) to be nominated?, just curious. I have tons of people whom I believe to worth being nominated. But one I would like to based on is people who actually teach others. there are lots of great fisherman here who catch big fish consistantly and continuously. That alone is hard work and require lots of skills. But to me, merely my personal opinion, teaching others fish and make them good fisherman is far more valuable and require more talent (because they have to be good and have skills to start with...then require more than that). Not everyone can teach well. Not everyone willing to share their time fishing with youngster or begginers. One have to sacrifice their time on water (or wildness on hunting? ) teaching others. Why am I asking this or saying this? I myself being begginer and had great time fishing here in NE thanks to those great teachers. Without them, I probably shooting golf or may fish but ended up fishing carp only with Euro-Style .This just hit me when I chat with Daryl.....I will move out of NE early next year but now I really feel my fishing root lies in Nebraska. I am sure, each year, new people move in this states, and try fish here. Some of the would have no clue about fishing. But as long as we have those folks who is willing to help those begginers.....NE fishing will be forever good. Am I saying too much if I say those folks are doing service not only to Anglers but the state of NE? I always give highest respect for those who can teach. They could go out by themselves and catch big fish without being bothered by amatures screw up things. Well, just my late night stupid thinking I need some whisky and should go out and buy one before my brain gets more screwed up.For those who teach others, even if you are nominated or recieve these award, you get my most respect....that is guaranteed Someday...I get more skill and knowledge, I am sure I will pass that to others to enjoy. Sam

I also don't think I'm saying too much when I say Nebraska's fishing community is REALLY going to miss you! Some places at BO are going to feel pretty empty come next summer. ![]() Stop by the form often and let us know what you're catching and how toilet technologies are progressing. ![]() -Chad

Sam,
There's no right or wrong answer on this. Just nominate some member and state your reason on why you think this person would deserve the title of AOY/OOY
