I want to make a post here to say "thank you" to Chad.
This post is a little overdue, but it's been a hectic month or two around the forum and I'm glad to do this now. Chad recently stepped down as a director here at NEFGA after being with the forum since the beginning in 2006, having come over with us from the "old forum" on the NGPC site. Chad is still a member of our forum, but other matters are needing his attention now. I want everyone to know how grateful I am to Chad for what he's done and meant to us here at NEFGA over the years. We always had great staff here, we have great staff now and we're going to be adding some folks here over the next year, we are just getting that big and complicated around here. Who would have thought? Well, Chad did, for one. From the start it was always Chad who was pushing us forward as a staff, reminding us of what we needed to be and what were certainly not ever to allow our forum to become, medicore and plain. When you look around and see all the great stuff we've got and think where we started, that's all Chad that brought it forward. Sure Mako and JT put all the computer stuff together, and we've got outstanding content and posts in our forums from our great members everyday, but we've had the benefit of Chad's wisdom and dedication to the members of the forum that made it all happen behind the scenes, making sure all the stuff that needed to get done, got done the right way. There are lot's of folks who put in lots of hours around here and lost a lot of sleep over the forum over the years. Chad also has that special gift of vision and insight into people, coupled with unbridled selflessness and a true affection for everyone around here that led us down the path to excellence that we'll be able to continue on now. Chad is also a tough cookie when he has to be and we've sure needed that at times too. So, please drop Chad a note and tell him "thank you". He was never one to make a big splash on his own behalf around here and he's certainly not going to do it now. So I'm going to do it for him. He's going to go on being a great friend to everyone he can and making all the great posts like he has over the years when he has time. ... and we'll sure miss him in those times when he's not here. So Chad, this one's for you, buddy. God's speed to you and yours in all you do. They've almost got Cunningham filled up again. I think our spot will be waiting for us again soon!! |

Chad has been my "go-to Guy" since the beginning. His professionalism in responding to my questions/concerns as I began to "grow" within this Forum was uncompromising and invaluable.
As an "outsider" I could feel his leadership within the Forum Directors. In my opinion, the quality of the NEFGA.ORG leadership is second to NONE. While "we" may miss my perceived role by Chad in this leadership, I'm equally convinced that the current and future Directors will continue to provide a Forum that all members will be proud to be a part of. Harold F. THANK YOU, CHAD!

Thanks for everything you have done and all the stuff you will probably end up still doing.
