The NEFGA VBay now up and running! Note, you will be required to give your personal information when signing up to bid on our Auction. You may bid on items and/or services. If you do win a service, remember to consider leaving a tip with the service provider.
Who can add a listing: Only members who are approved by the Board of Directors can add a listing.
What can be listed: You may only list items or services in which the proceeds will be donated to the NEFGA. All auctions must be approved by the NEFGA.
Who can bid: Any member of the NEFGA may bid. However, bid shilling is not allowed. You or your immediate family members may not bid on your auction to drive up prices.
What if I see something that may be a violation: You may report any potential violations to an NEFGA Director.
What if I bid on an item/service and no longer want it or can't pay for it: A bid is a binding contract with you and the seller. If, for any reason, you decide you can't complete the purchase, you must contact the seller and explain your situation. If the seller feels the reason is not sufficient enough for you to back out, the seller may report this to the NEFGA Directors and the Directors will decide whether to hand out an infraction, or ban the member for this violation. At this time, the member next in line for bidding may be contacted for purchase.
How can I become approved to list an auction: You may contact a Director with your idea of what you would like to list, and remember to state that you will donate the end value to the NEFGA. You may email administration@nefga.org with any questions as well.
What will happen with my personal information: The NEFGA does not use your personal information for anything other than for this auction. Your personal information is only shared between the seller and winner.
What happens when I add a bid: THE HIGHEST BID YOU ENTER WILL BE THE NEW CURRENT BID!
What happens after the auction is over: You will be automatically PM'd with personal information about the seller or bidder. The two of you should PM each other back with information on how you would like to complete the purchase.
Any and all questions may be directed at any of the NEFGA Directors. If any of the rules above become questionable, the NEFGA Directors will rule on the matter in a timely matter.
