Is this sarcastic?

Because the idea that the cupboard was bare on the defensive side of the ball is ridiculous. Callahan and Cosgrove inherited a very talented core of players on the defensive side of the ball. Look at the guys who have went to the NFL over the last 3 years... Ruud, Washington, the Bullock's brothers, Bradley, Adams, Carriker... Our defenses have been terrible since day one of this coaching staff, Remember when TTech hung 70 on us? Were they more talented? OSU last year? How about Ball State this week, how does their talent compare to NU's?

I figure it has to be a sarcastic comment, because we are hardly competitive, unless you're considering Ball State a team we should be on par with. Then, apparently we're right where we need to be.

I see poorly coached teams which aren't prepared for games. I see a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, but nothing on the field. Putting up 40 points against ball state isn't a big accomplishment, and giving up 40 to them is an embarrassment for a program like Nebraska.

For the folks who claim had NU been in the SEC the dynasty wouldn't have happened... Well in 95 and 97 we faced the best teams they had to offer, and it wasn't pretty at all for them. I'm pretty confident that there were not any other teams in that league which would have posed much of a threat to those teams.

That's what Husker players used to say. What was it called?
The Oklahoma drill? Yeah, bet they don't to that anymore.
