Default NBA Finals does anyone care?

The finals start on Thurs is anyone going to watch. When I was a kid I use to love the NBA but rarely watch it anymore. I think I will have to watch these finals though, LeBron has me interested. He "seems" to be a good kid and is fun to watch. What he did in the game last week carrying his team to a win in the 2 OT game was amazing I wish I would have seen more then just the highlights.

I'll watch it. I'm afraid the Spurs will take the games pretty easily. I bet the Cavs only win 1, if any at all.

I don't care much since Jordan, Rodman, Pippen and the boys packed it in.

The jazz haven't been the same since the Mailman and Mr Short Shorts. They were a perfect example of how to run the ole pick and roll. Now the players just do the dribble around in circle and dunk.

I COULDN'T agree more burrodebo. When they won their last championship and Jordan retired, I pretty much stopped watching.
That was probably the last time I watched a complete game from start to finish.

What was this thread about?? Can't stand basketball. They can't even dribble down court without some dumbass penalty.Let the guys play. The only time I have ever watched the NBA or any basketball was when Jordan played.Otherwise,I'd rather watch SpongeBob.

I have just the opposite problem with it, Alex. There's only one way I'd walk across the street to see an NBA game for free: Hire a team of strict Nebraska high school girls' refs who would call traveling, palming, double-dribble, three-seconds, etc., according to the rule book. Those NBA guys would have nervous breakdowns within 10 minutes.

You have seen how the "worlds best" have faired in international competition (Olympics and such) the last few times around.....Once they have to play with "normal" basketball rules -- any 5 kids from Slatvania or Ebakustan can regulate the "NBA's best" from winner to participant.

Amen to that. I don't watch the NBA for the same reason. Can't stand watching the palming and carrying of the ball, especially. They should raise the basket a couple of feet and make the ball so big even some of those behemoth-handed guys can't palm it. Or how about changing the rules so they're like Ultimate Frisbee - can't take more than two steps with the ball before having to pass it to another player?
