Default RED OUT vs USC

I just though I would pass this on.

Everyone knows what a RED OUT means, but this time lets let those trojans whose house they are in! NO WHITE SHOULD BE WORN ON THIS DAY! ONLY THE SHADE OF SCARLET! With this game being so early we as a state should get behind our team and cheer them to victory.
Go Huskers, Go Big Red

You Husker fans crack me up. Maybe a public pep rally will help them win the 'real' games of their season. Heck, maybe it'll at least help them play a full game instead of the one-half wonders they were last year.

Anything couldn't hurt...because you're right...they were the one-half wonders last year...

Maybe a coach with a different philosophy of let's run this play over and over cause it hasn't worked yet would help also.

I like the huskers. Been a fan since I knew what football was. But do we really need to be calling for a Red Out four months before the game? I mean, how long does it take people to figure out which red t-shirt they're going to wear to the game??

with Husker fans, 4 months isn't really that early. Most of them probably have a Big Red foam hat in the trunk year round.........just in case.

I remember when I got here in July '84. Picked up my first Weird Harold and on the front page, just below the fold, with a huge full-color photo of a guy sitting in a dentist chair being worked on by a couple techs, with the headline and 4 column article reading:

HUSKERS GET FITTED FOR NEW MOUTHPIECES!!

I knew I was not in Kansas anymore...

It doesn't matter what color people wear. 90% of the time the better team wins. The more talented team wins. These days, USC is flat out better than NU.

Is that Booty kid still playing QB for USC?

We're in deep crap if he is.

We're in deep crap anyway.

USC isn't going to be that good this year. Didn't they lose their star WR 1 year early?

Saying that USC isnt going to be that good is ridiculous. They have Booty, they lost their starting 2 WR's to the draft, but they are so deep in almost every position. They also have their runningback back who has been plagued by injuries. This guy was above Londel (sp?) White in the rotation before he was hurt. Last year i believe he took a medical redshirt. They are going to be good, but it will still be a good game, i cant wait

Are you kidding? USC is going to be phenominal. With 18 returning starters and considering their schedule, they should not lose a game next year. Remember these names...Patrick Turner and David Ausberry. Thought the Jarret/Smith recieving combo was good? Wait till you see Turner and Ausberry in action. Furthermore, their LB corps (Cushing and Rivers) is arguably the best in NCAA. They've got a pair of young tailbacks that should be great...and yeah, I almost forgot...John David Booty is the best QB in college ball. Yeah, they're gonna be pretty tough.

I still don't feel that they are that great of a team...yes, they more than liekly will put the hurt on the Huskers...but I still don't think they are all that good...Booty is good...as long as he has the supporting cast...so far he does...but many things can change...

Well...I suppose we shall see, eh? I'm thinking a USC rout of UNL...212-6.

I'm just wondering what excuses the Husker fans will use this year for losing and when the talk of a new coach will start to surface.

Most Husker fans wear red to the home games any way so there is no need to call for a "Red Out".
