He got a ticket for negligent driving. He hit 3 parked cars late at night. Suh had been drinking but his blood alchohol level was below .08. Thank God!

so, no reports on whether or not Ndamakong was hurt or not...I'm assuming 'not' or it would have been in the news...

other than that, I find the 'thank God' comment interesting in that it seemed to be all about not hurting a 'season in progress' rather than any concern over a young man...

But that's just my opinion...

and yeah, it's good to hear he's okay and no one was hurt.

I'm especially glad to hear he didn't want to hit a 'cat'...

on the other hand, since the accident report I saw indicates he first 'hit' a parked car on the right...then veered left and 'hit' two more...perhaps he was not trying to avoid, but rather run over 'said cat'?

He tried to miss a dog or cat that ran across the road in front of him. The officers thought at first alcohol was involved and gave him a breath-a-lizer but he blew a .035. Heck, that could have showed up from mouthwash! Glad no one was hurt. He's a good kid. Hopefully, he doesn't get too hard a time for this. Heck, most college kids his age were probably blitzed at the bar when this happened. Sometimes I really feel sorry for these college athletes. Just remembering some of the things I did while in college still makes me cringe!

I just sort of figured that 'thank God he didn't get a DUI' really meant...cool, now Pelini doesn't have to suspend him...and he can play which gives NU a better chance at winning...

Sorry if I misinterpreted that there would be any NU fans out there more concerned with W's and L's than a players health...

Well yea it is good for Nebraska he didnt get a dui, otherwise our defense would be without the leader. Obviously his health is first thats a given, I or anyone else thats a Husker fan would probably say the same. Just sort of a given I guess didnt think I needed to say it.

This is a good learning tool here.... Just hit the darn cat, dog, deer, rabbit and so on. Now there is damage to 3 or 4 cars here, instead of one. Trust me your insurance agent will tell you the same thing.

But really I am glad he wasn't blitzed as many of us were at that age, and he is uninjured. He has so much to loose here, not just w's and l's for us husker fans but a pro career as well.

From anything/everything I've ever heard/seen about the young man, he's just a great human being in a mansters body...with an awful lot of great things on his horizon...and again, from what I've seen of him so far and his family...the best stuff to come will happen 'off the field'...even though what happens 'on the field' very likely will be spectacular...

I'm not sure Lee could hit three stationary targets.

Of course remember what state we live in and that is the story that they give you.

Anyone ever read the Osborne book that talks about all the BS the Husker players would get into and we would never hear about?

It may be that athletes catch a break once in awhile and good looking women can talk themselves out of a speeding ticket, but here is the official police report:

http://cjis.lincoln.ne.gov/~ACC/A910/A9108633.PDF

So it MUST be the truth.

Even though it appears that Suh avoided a CATastrophy, he is still being DOGged!

Understandable, I guess, since Bo adjusted his "no tolerance" policy on alcohol to "tolerance" if under .08.

On another front, the Oregon "nose-poker" just got re-instated. 'Spose their coach got a call from TO?

It's all about winning. Blame the fans.
