Didn't expect that score at the end of the first half. I like NU's chances if it is a close game in the second half and comes down to the OU kicker trying for the game winner.

11 of 21 posted a score that OU would beat NU, 11 out of 21 on a Nebraska forum! I love NU football, but I can't stand the fans of it, simply pathetic, a huge group of backstabin bandwaganers.

I predicted a husker loss.... and was happy as hell to eat crow when they won last night.

IF, and it's a big IF , Nebraska makes it to the big 12 championship game, I'll predict a loss again. I'll hope they win. I don't think predicting a loss makes me any less of a fan.

Wow, I fell asleep late in the third quarter and woke up to discover that I too need to eat crow. Congradulations to your Huskers!

I believe you're correct in that assessment.

Never have understood the 'need' to predict the score/game. Always prefer instead to watch the drama unfold...watch young men meet and accept adversity...and work to overcome...

As well as the defense played last night, I don't believe NU wins that game outside of Memorial...

I think Huskers would of won that game anywhere. For crying out loud give em a break. They played to win, and did, thats that. The Huskers really should be in the top 20 if not 10 in my book. We outplayed V Tech, lost to Iowa State which was a flook , the score of that game should have been 28-9. The game against texas was the only game we got outplayed on.

NU wins almost every category against Iowa except turnovers, so they should have won, correct?

And when they lose almost every category against OK except turnovers, it's somehow different?

A top 20, if not a top 10 team? What offense are you watching? 35% of our total offense came from one play!

You want the quote in my sig line?????

Yeah our offense isnt the greatest. Look at 2 of the 3 games we lost, our offense had the ball moving on both teams. We had the ball in the endzone almost 4 times against Iowa State, we should of beat V tech they just came up big. So yea its easy to bang on them, given Helu was hurt for those 2 games. Yesterday he did a good job besides fumbling the ball. We are going to win out on these last games take the big 12. Now lets here the smart arse comments against the Huskers and how bad we are. Im not sure Oklamhoma won every category except turovers, I would say our defense outplayed there offense by a long shot! It amazes me to read some of the posts from Nebraskans on here.

I didn't say every category, I said almost every category. Rushing (43% of NU's rushing came from one run!!!) and time of possession go to NU. And you can credit time of possession to the Blackshirts.

I'll be ecstatic if NU can win the Big 12, I just don't see it happening with an offense that goes 3 and out 10 times in a game. Give NU an offensive line that is worth it's salt, and THEN NU will can, and should be in top 20.

I actually have to *gasp* agree with BOW that they probably wouldn't have won outside memorial. The fans played a big part in it. OU would have had two more time-outs if it had not been for the confused offense because they couldn't hear the play, and if that's the case, they probably may have missed a couple more play-calls because of it as well.

You take all of the fun out of it when you lob such easy softballs like that...

Seriously though, the D played another outstanding game. NU is such a tough team to figure. With a 10-11 win type D and a 4-5 win type O flipping a coin might truly be the best way to predict their games...

(Now if only NU could make it to the Big12 championship game and eliminate the "Texas/Big 12 problem" from the BCS championship game)

Just because I don't think NE is going to win the game doesn't make me any less of fan. I cheer for them win or loss. I haven't jumped the wagon in 30 yrs, I don't plan on doing it any time soon. I think you need to rethink your logic and get off you high horse...Yekes I just scared myself by sounding like a certain vikings fan...

Games that fans think we should have won don't count for squat in the win/loss column. There is no way in hell we are a top 10 team. Seriously, have you seen our offense?
Good win last night for the skers. D is very solid but our offense is the pathetic. We have to get the ball on the 2 yd line to score a touchdown.

I predicted a loss and was confident to do so. That doesn't mean I wanted them to lose. Nebraska's vaunted "Yellow Flag" offense played just well enough to win. Thank God OU's wasn't much better.

The Blackshirts looked great as usual.

It was a great game to be at.The offense was horrible. The defense was unreal. They were pumped the entire game and the fans definatly made a BIG difference.

That witty, clever, reasonable and logical thinking bast*rd kind of scares me too...

Rooting for your team and reasonable thinking about how you think your team might perform after watching your team play 8 games are two different things. I doubt any of the Husker fans on here were rooting for NU to lose becaue they picked OU on here. I've known Husker fan to be a lot of things (good/bad), but bandwagon jumpers from their program, no way.

I've been thinking about this scenario. Who would we put in the championship game against the SEC champ. Do we consider TCU or Cincinnati? I really don't want to see Florida and Alabama rematch after they just played in the SEC championship, and if TX loses the big 12 then they sure don't belong in the title game. We don't have any undefeateds left in the big 10, ACC, or Pac-10. We have the Big east's Cincinnati and then there's TCU who is looking solid and although they arguably don't have really tough schedules, it wouldn't surprise me if they could hold their ground against the SEC champ. BYU beat Oklahoma. Oklahoma almost took down TX, TCU pummeled BYU. If A is greater than B, and B is is just less than C, and D destroys A, then there's a good chance that D is greater than C. Unfortunately, that type of logic very rarely holds true in college football. Still nothing would make me happier than watching the heads roll of all the SEC kool-aid drinkers that I live around when their precious Florida and Alabama got taken down by a school like TCU.

I honestly think that TCU should get the nod even if both them and Texas run the table. If you compare TCU's body of work compared to what Texas has done, plus the fact that the Big 12 is considerably down this year (not taking a shot, just stating the obvious), the only thing Texas has that's better than TCU is the name "Texas". I would love to see a TCU, Boise State (even though I think Boise is overrated) or a Cincy team get a crack at one of those SEC teams in the championship game, but until a playoff system comes around, I'm sure the "powers that be" will make sure that doesn't happen.

Our quarterback and offensive line our terribly , obviously. This gets stated over and over after every game the Huskers play no matter if they win or lose. In all reality, Helu is not bad at all. Our recievers arent horrible. Zac Lee and Green our both about worthless. Niles Paul has a lot of potential if he could hold onto the ball. Theres work to do but I would bet the season of 2011 the Husker will be in the top 5. Bo is the right guy for the job!
