I fall into that category as well... I'm now in sole possession of last place.

Well at least I know I'll get my first choice on waivers this week!!!

OK, so I was getting frustrated with my record (1-6) and thinking that my team really hasn't played that bad. Turns out my hunch isn't far off. I have scored the 5th most points in the league (592 through 7 games, or about 85 points per game), but my opponents have scored 696 on me (just shy of 100 pts per game) which is the worst in the league, but it is also more than 100 points worse than the two guys that share 10th place right ahead of me.

Somehow I don't think they have lost to the same quality of opponents as me.... Those two teams have also scored 70 and 130 points less than me on offense (10 and 19 points per game less)...

Ty's team, in first place, has scored the most points (712) but has the 3rd lowest points scored against him (509). That's an average margin of victory of 29 points!

All of a sudden I'm excited for the back half of the season again!!!

Spoken like a true Husker fan..... yeah, I'm right there with ya.

The Green Bay Defense is only going to have eyes on Favre, giving free reign for AP to run all day.

With that, said, you'll be 1-7 come Tuesday.

Bring it...

I will be at the Baylor game visiting a friend this weekend. I won't be around to watch me put the whoopin' on you.

Honestly, I would happily lose to you if it guarantees Baylor get pummeled. I don't want to lose my first away game in person...

I would be very shocked to see the Green Bay D not load up the box to stop AP. That being said, this game seems like it could be a shoot-out.

DOH! Forgot to swap out my bye week kicker and still almost won. Almost sure doesnt count though.

My season is going down the tubes fast to some very small losses.

Maybe next season you should have Kenzie draft your team...

Looks like I get another shot at the "little gill hunters" this week...
(Better hope they lay another egg like the first time)

It looks like the Crappie slayers(my team) and the Cornfed Cornhead are playing for the final playoff spot this week. Good luck Cornhead.

Well good luck to you to. Mr. Slayer? Time to hit the waiver wire.

I wrote this on Oct 29:

Considering that I've gone 3-2 since then (likely to be 3-3 in a few minutes -) I would have to say things turned out about like I would have hoped when I wrote that. 1-6 was a really crappy feeling at the time, but at least I finished OK. I'll take 4-9 after that.

I am still 5th in total points (same as then), but had the second-most points allowed (one spot better than before). I lost by an average of a mere 8 points per game. Oh well... I guess there's only so much I can do!

Hats off to all the guys that made the playoffs! It's been a fun season. I'm already looking forward to next year. I'll be back in 2010...
