I've been known to scratch a lot when playing G**F...perhaps it has something to do with chasing a little white ball through the poison ivy?...which brings up another issue: those guys need to keep better conditions in the rough...
It's not that folks think g**f is entirely pointless...just pointless when there's something else to do outside...like fish, hunt, cut the grass, wash the windows...:zrazzing:

Hit about 50 balls at lunch today. Still have the power slice mastered :zclap: I am so happy about that, I was worried I would have lost it over the winter. The TaylorMade R7 Draw couldnt even stop me!

First time I ever clicked on the Sports forum. I know this is an old topic - but - as much as I enjoy fishing, enjoy golf even more. The thing I like more about golf is this - In fishing, some days you just can't catch much of anything. I guess it's why they call it fishing, not catching. I know, I know, someone will say that is part of the challenge. O.K., enjoy your challenges. In golf, no matter how bad a day you are having, even though your not hitting the ball well that day, you still get another shot until you have completed the entire round. Both have their rewards. In golf, that one good shot keeps bringing you back. Kind of like in fishing, that one good one keeps bringing you back. Just my humble opinion. Golf is not for everyone, nor is fishing.Last edited by Holi Comet; 05-05-2007 at 12:03 PM. Reason: don't know where </IMG> came from or what it means |

I love to play golf. Fish in the morning, golf till evening, then go fish more.

Oh, I agree with you on that one. At times golf can be the most frustrating sport you'll ever have played.

Pretty much gave up the golf thing. Just too expensive anymore. I guess for me, I'd rather get skunked fishing than chase my sliced shots all over the course
. When I think about all the money I've spent on greens fees, cart rentals, golf balls, and who knows what else in the last ten years, I probably could have paid for a Lund 1900 Pro V .Deas |
