Fantasy baseball

I was just wondering if we have any big time baseball fans here. I thought it would be neat to get together a forum fantasy baseball league. I know spring training hasn't even started yet, so we've got plenty of time, but i just wanted to see if there was enough interest in this to pursue it a little more.

Yeah i've just recently gotten into fantasy baseball. I've played fantasy football for 5 or 6 years now but i started to pay attention to baseball last year and participated in a league as well. I always thought baseball was pretty boring growing up but im really addicted to it now. I'm running one league already this year but i would love to get another one started. It would sure be nice if we could get at least 10 forum members to start up a league!

Hey I would be in for a getting a league together. Sorry I some how managed to miss this thread until now. Spring training games start March 1 and I will be in Florida for it.:d

A guy can make a lot of friendly cash on the game of baseball

... If we have any collectors here I have an entire closet full of baseball cards most all in 'mint' condition that I have collected during my youth and once again the sport is the ultimate sport to do some friendly betting ...

Just thought I would bump this up to see if any more people are interested in this. I suck at fantasy baseball but enjoy it and it would be more fun to be in a league with more local guys at least in same state.

yeah it just doesnt look like we are going to get enough interest. Especially with only 14 days until opening day. If we get enough interest i would be more than happy to head this up. It would be pretty cool to have a league with a bunch of regulars from the forum!

I'm already in two other leagues but I'd be up for it. Let me know if you want a couple other guys too. I can probably get a few more if needed.

Well right now it looks like we've got 5 guys that have shown interest. If we could get 10 guys i would be all for starting a league. If you can get some more forum members let me know. I'm going to talk to a few guys and see if i can twist there arm a bit.
