8 Win Season

All we (Huskers) need are victories against K-State and Colorado to meet the magical 8 win season. Both teams are beatable.

What do you think? Will we get 8 wins this season?

I am just looking forward to any bowl game at this point... after not being able to get a trip in last year... I LOVE HUSKER BOWL GAMES!!! we travel so well, it's like going out of town but still feeling like your at home... The Alamo bowl was amazing, probably 80-20 split between NU and Michigan fans

Be careful what you wish for........

IMO they would be better off playing an "ok Pac 10 team." Better chance winning a shoot out than facing a team with a stout D and a punishing running game.

AZ, Oregon, or Oregon St are my guesses for the Sun Bowl. I am hoping for the Gator though...long shot.

I want Iowa, not because i think theyd roll them, but because I think itd be sweet! Its a rarity they play each other, and itd be awesome.

well, if you believed at the beginning of the season that we might only win 5 (like I did) it's certainly now possible to believe that we can win 8 or 9.

I'd like to see us get Iowa too.

I agree...I am not sure why I would want Iowa, other than it would kind of be cool! It would really be fun to talk about for a month, I know that! I would love to just sit a jaw with a bunch of Iowa fans!

From before the first game was even played I called 8 wins and a bowl game. A "few" people on here said I was drinking "Kool-aid" and we wouldn't win more than 5. A few of the "few" were down right harsh to myself and critical about the Huskers. Well......................now what? Where are all these haters at now? Not one has responded to this thread. Must hurt when you kick yourself in the b###ls!!! GO HUSKERS and here's to all the faithful!!!!

Besides TTech and VTech, you beat the teams you were supposed to and got blown out by the teams you were supposed to so congrats!
