![]() ![]() Man, that video still hurts! I still remember watching that game... I am serious when I say, if we play like we played last night, next week against Tech...we could be in for more of the same like we saw in 2004...Maybe worse...Thats scary...I seriously doubt Mike Leech would call off his players like Missery did, they would love to throw 70 more up on us.Troy |

I had a sh*tty football weekend, again. The only solice that I have is that you husker crazies have had your dreams crushed and now have to face the same reality that us badger fans have realized over the last two weeks...your team sucks.
And you're absolutely right about Tech not calling off the dogs...they're fighting for that BCS spot, and they're going to do everything they can do to inflict as much pain as humanly possible. All air...all day. Expect a 700 yard game from TT. Oh, and if Wisky plays next week like they did this week, JoePa is gonna put the hurting on us too...but at least it won't be as ugly as Tech.

The domestic abuse hotlines will be ringing off the hook. Know who hates husker losses more than husker fanatics? The wives of husker fanatics.

I don't know....The Huskers can use this game against TT to see how to build a formidable offense when you have no rushing game to speak of. Kind of like the whole: "If life gives you lemons....." or "Think out of the box" thing.
I am a bit confused about all of the nagging on the Husker offense this week (talk radio, newspaper, etc)....Not many offense's can compete when the other team scores every time they touch the ball. I am not really a husker fan....but I watch enough ball to know that it is not the offense that should be taking the full frontal attack.

that's quite enough of that magnus... there are plenty of us husker fanatics that don't choose to beat their wives, so instead we decide to beat our walls, tv's, life size cut outs of Sarah Palin... oh, I did go there...

That's only for those of you who have crappy TV's. You saw that beast in my living room this weekend...I couldn't lay a finger on that old girl. And having met ya, I'm pretty sure Sarah Palin would whoop ya! :-) Or at least give you a nasty papercut.

I predict NU will get shut out against TT if they continue to not be able to line up on offense and not even snap the ball without getting themselves penalized like they've been doing the past 2 weeks.
The stuff they are pulling individually, such as all those dumb illegal procedure, delay of game and roughing penalties would have gotten me benched from my 8th grade football team. And yet, these clowns are still out there. Forget play calling. Forget that we have no premier running back.Forget that our quarterback is always running for his life to the point that he and the receivers don't even know what routes they are running anymore. Oh yeah, and forget that Larry Asante can do a swell piroute while letting kick blockers run right by him without touching even their shadows and yet he still starts. Unbelievable! We can't even start off 1st and 10 half the time without shooting ourselves in the foot and having to start first and 15 or second and 10 and then ending up 3rd and 8 all the time. How about this? We just start every series as 3rd and 8? It's save time and keep my blood pressure down and be far more entertaining to watch. That seems to be the goal of the NU offense anyway. Then we just line up and let all the walk-ons and freshman (maybe even the band and cheerleaders, too) take turns going off-tackle right or off-tackle left with the ball and when they can consistently get a play off without jumping the snap for a whole quarter, then we can talk about all the rest of it. It'll save time and we won't have to watch all those yellow flags in the air. I don't even think the offensive unit would be capable of doing even that right now. This is going to take a long time as what we have right now are a number of bad football players in key positions and it can't begin to be fixed until they are gone. |

65 Tech
35 NU Offense starts to actually get it and doesn't kill them self with stupid penalities and turn overs. O-line pulls head out and actually blocks on most plays. Defense still struggles against one of the best O's in the country. |
