Tough one to call. Gophers have looked good, but haven't played anybody yet.

Gophers are still a year or thirty away from getting the type of athletes they need to run their spread. Ohio St. has way more speed at the skill positions...

Ohio St. 37

Gophers 17

Adam, when did you decide to start riding the reality train? eh, lets go fishing, let go of the spread sheet, and pick up a rod and reel.

Can't resist hi-jacking this thread and predicting a win for Becky Badger a week from Saturday.

Sorry

IMO this is the year for Big Ten teams to get at OSU. Give Pryor the rest of this season and the offseason....

I think it's Wisconsin's year...but i've picked them a couple times, and they've let me down each time. Penn St. might be a lot to handle though.

It's really tough to say because nobody knows how Minnesota and all of their new players are gonna react playing in the Horseshoe. Weber still stares down Decker (#7) and has not found a viable second option at WR. Eskridge and Salamon (True Fr.) are probably going to see the bulk of the RB duty, and heaven knows if they are going to get Weber killed in pass protection. They are still TOO SLOW on offense, and sometimes get very dull and monataneous with their play calling. On defense, they are improved and faster than last years group, and Ted Roof has got them playing harder it seems. They say he simplified the defensive schemes from last year, which would make sense because they were terrible. Cambell (#30) was moved from DE to MLB and has so far looked the part of a legit Big10 linebacker, but he has nothing on Laurnitis. Brock, the juco saftey also looks solid, but Hartline and Robiske should probably due pretty well. I am very interested to see Pryor play, he should reak havoc against a fairly slow D-line and LB crew. Very interested to see how the Gophers react to playing in a big time enviornment.
The only way I would see Minnesota winning this game would be if Maroney and Barber somehow snuck into their locker room, also if they snuck in a couple of the old O-lineman of a few years ago and used that same cut-blocking sheme.

Or if Art Schlister was still playing for you guys and took the points.
