I would say the 99' Rams or the 72' Dolphins.

As painful as this is for me (a packer fan) to say, there's never been a better team than Da '85 Bears. Close second would have been last year's Pats...despite not winning it all.

In defense of your avatar, I am pretty partial to the 1979/1980 Rams myself....Even though they got beat in the Superbowl my the Steelers.

This pains me to say but.....
"We ain't here to start no trouble, we're just here to do the superbowl shuffle." If I could go the route of GenericAngler, I would say the 98 Vikings... Excluding that kicker who didn't miss a kick all year until the one that would have iced the NFC championship game who shall remain nameless. Ahhh....the joy of being a Viking fan.

1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers!
Now if you want to talk pro...I have to go with last years Pats. I know that's the unpopular choice, but they were amazing. The 1985 Bears were pretty darn good too.
