As painful as this is for me (a packer fan) to say, there's never been a better team than Da '85 Bears. Close second would have been last year's Pats...despite not winning it all.

In defense of your avatar, I am pretty partial to the 1979/1980 Rams myself....Even though they got beat in the Superbowl my the Steelers.

If I could go the route of GenericAngler, I would say the 98 Vikings... Excluding that kicker who didn't miss a kick all year until the one that would have iced the NFC championship game who shall remain nameless.

The 1985 Bears were pretty darn good too.
