Yea USC is going to roll.

For Christ's sake Frank Solich almost beat Ohio St this weekend.

HAHA

I know how much you Husker fans think he was such a terrible coach.

USC 35
Ohio State 17
Normally this would end any hopes of Ohio State making it to the national championship but for some reason the voters love them and will put them in even though they play in a very, very soft Big 10 conference. I think it's Tressel's sweater vests that does it for the voters. The national championship should be USC against the SEC Championship winner. Not too strong on the big 12, both Oklahoma and Missouri will falter to somebody during the year.

The ridiculous good USC LB corp snap Beanie Weenie Wells in half, the completely crappy leftover Buckeyes get absolutely nothing but problems for the rest of the game. Same old story for the weak Big 10.

USC 52
Ohio St. 10

Ohio St. doesn't weasel it's way into the NC game this year because of this horrendous loss to the Trojans. However, since the Big 10 isn't that strong at all like allways Ohio St. wins the Big 10 outright and ends up in a BCS game against an SEC team. The SEC team runs circles around the Buckeyes....and again Ohio St. loses horrendously.

Just my prediction.

The Big 10 actually fares well against SEC opponents in bowl games. In fact, I'm pretty sure my boys in red have defeated very, very good SEC opponents more often than not in recent seasons.

I stand corrected...my boys in red have played SEC teams the last 5 years in bowl games, won two, lost two (by a COMBINED total of 7 points), and then got beat pretty solidly back in the 03/04 season.

Boy I sure hate to agree with a Becky Badger fan, but he's right. To just list a few of the Big Ten's recent wins against SEC teams in bowls
Wisky- Auburn and Arkansas
Minnesota- Arkansas and Alabama
Penn St.- Tennessee
Iowa- Florida and LSU
Michigan- Florida

I know those weren't in national championship games but the constant bashing of the Big Ten because of Ohio State is a joke.
I don't understant why "Big game Bob" and Oklahoma fly under the radar after all of the turds they have dropped in bowl games since the 2000 national title.

I don't put much stock into bowl games other than the BCS bowls. When teams have almost a month layoff between games you never know what will happen. The teams still playing for the BCS title obviously have something to play for as do some of the "Boise State's" of the world that manage to sneak into a BCS game because they get an at large for not playing in a power conference, beating maybe 2 decent teams a year and the voters rank them too high....take the beloved Rainbows of last year-did not deserve a BCS bearth. Basically what happens is the SEC teams beat the crap out of each other on a weekly basis. The big 10 teams play 3 decent big 10 teams a year, the rest of that conference is a joke. So when a Florida plays an Iowa in the Preperation H Egg Nogg Bowl anything can happen because after a grueling SEC schedule most teams don't have much left in the tank. And I'm not a fan of any team in the SEC, I just know that conference is the best hands down. Don't start up with the big 12, they rank just slightly higher than the big 10 for football powers and one year doesn't make you a power Kansas and Mizzu fans so basically you have Texas and Oklahoma, the north is a crap shoot every year to see who will go get beat in the championship by one of the other two previously mentioned. Also how could you not cheer for the Badgers in the Big 10, they have a nebraska boy playing qb but let's see if they can win on the road first.

Default Big 10.......PLEASE!

No freaking way brothers. Yes the Big 10 isn't bad. But it's definately not great. Seriously! Ohio St. is a good team, but USC will beat them soundly on Sat.

Let's see: Michigan...(god help them if they lose to Notre Dame,) Northwestern....Purdue who? Minnesota is as bad as their uniforms are ugly, Iowa looks really good beating Maine and FIU till Iowa St. slaps those fans down again this year, Michigan St. not so much, Indiana is fixin for another bowl drought.

Illinois was beaten by Mizzou (whom many say may not be the best team in the Big 12.) Wisconsin is allways decent and this year finally they may win the Big 10, even though they couldn't do it the past two years that i picked them to do it. But Penn St. could surprise...seriously.

Back to Sat. game...USC is just better all around. And i'm going to say it...here it comes....Ray Malauga is better than Laurinaitis! USC has a better staple of QBs (Pryor ain't ready to hang with USC), and without Beannie Weenie the Buckeyes running game is stagnant! And don't even try to throw it over the middle with Taylor Mays waiting to break you in half.

Ohio St. does exactly what I say it does on Sat. They lose...bad!

I agree with most of what you wrote, but saying that "the big ten teams play 3 decent big 10 teams a year, the rest of the conference is a joke"
You can say the same thing about every other BCS conference (besides the SEC)

I know that's why the SEC is so good, put any of those teams in other conferences and they wil win them most likely. Image the middle of the road SEC teams like Auburn, Arkansas, South Carolina or mississippe state- these teams all struggles in the SEC to be a top team but I'd bet in the big 10 or big 12 they'd be number 1 or 2. Why...they all play strong defense. I also hate the fact that the big 10 does not have a conference championship, so basically what happens every year is 2 big 10 teams beat up on crummy competition all year, have great records at the end and make it into 2 BCS games take 2 years ago Michigan and Ohio State, both undefeated until they play each other, look like crap against each other and go get blown out in bowl games.

I don't agree.

All the Big 10 teams play the other 2 Big 10 teams (3 depending on what poll) that are in the Top 25. The rest of their games are usually one non-conf. game that they'll probably for the most part lose if not lost already, and the rest of the Big 10. Which is Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Purdue, Northwestern and Michigan St.....all of which really aren't that good right now.

Plus the Big 10 doesn't have a championship game... so we'll see who fares better (Big 10/Big 12) and go from there

Totally agree! I was stationed for 5 years in Montgomery, AL and became an adopted Auburn fan. I'm a Husker fan through and through, but the SEC is the best conf. hands down right now.

I hate that the Big 10 doesn't have a conf. championship game, so teams like Ohio St. can beat the crap out of their weak conf. opponents and automatically go to a BCS game and play a quality team in a bowl game and get spanked!

The same thing you say about the Big 10 can be said about the Big 12
Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas St., Iowa St., Baylor, Texas A&M
Big 12 teams, as do most BCS schools, only play one decent noncon anyway, I guess just another case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Plus, with the way the Big 12 schedule is set up, it allows teams like Kansas to miss the South big boys and have the season they had last year. Not taking anything away from KU, just stating a fact.

I will agree with you about the championship game
Hate seeing 2 or 3 "Co-champs"
