I want to see what the teams character is like when they go down 14-0 or 21-0 in the first quarter to an opponent. And believe me it's gonna happen.

Will they hit back or phone it in early? Will Bo be able to keep the players heads on straight and provide motivation?

They had better get things squared away quick 'cause they're looking at a tough rest of season ('cept for Baylor and Iowa St.)

GO BIG RED!

It is easy to get sucked into the "get better now" attitude that is the expectation from Bo and Co. For the most part, all the coaches are working together as a unit for the first time, with players that "most" of them didn't pick.

I try and tell myself that Sean Watson is "lying in the weeds" with a super offense waiting for the big games, but the reality is, probably not.

And finally, I ask, would last years staff have won this game??? Remember ball state, they missed a kick that would have won them the game at the end.

Personally, I think if we played San Jose state last year, they would have smoked us.

Finally I see the other teams players limping off the field rather that ours. This is a start!

I would like to see them have a winning season and win their bowl game.

The scariest thing is that all 3 opponents that we have faced are 90 or worse out of all the D-1 teams. If this team play consistently well on both sides of the ball and stop getting injured we would be ok. It doesn't help when you lose two DEs and are just now starting to get back two likely OL starters. Plus don't forget Blue is out, West is out and Thenarse. That is 3 very soild dbs for us right now that we will need for these spread offenses.

I was encouraged by the run game but I still want to see balance in the offense and consistent production.
