If you didn't mean to offend why the hell would you say it.

Not sure how telling you that respectable fighters don't act like tough guys towards the general public makes me into myself, or that the guys I would worry about in a bar are the quiet ones makes me into myself. Never seen any of the UFC guys I know start a fight. I knew Houston before he was a fighter, and didn't even know he fought until I saw him on TV. I knew him from the music scene, and he never mentioned fighting. Not sure if you noticed I said I don't like to fight to the point where I will talk my way out first. Hopefully you being a bouncer would know that talking is always the first ten options in a situation. I've been bouncing off and on at this bar for 5 years, and only thrown one punch. I've talked dozens more out of a brawl.

No offense, but you should read posts before you respond. No offense.

Now when it comes to music, I am definitely into myself.

Dude I am just talking about how you describe in detail these situations that you get into....just funny to me. Thats all. As far as talking down situations I am very aware of this considering my backround. Not trying to start an internet situation. Just stating the fact that you "stories" amuse me. And your signature doesn't help either.....lol

I put a drunk guy down at a bar, and didn't hit him, just stopped it...big deal. That would be the only time I've done it. That's not bragging, it's an example of the bad attitude/tough guy syndrome some in the sport have and where it gets some of them.

And I am a rock star. I told you I when it comes to music I am into myself, and so are a whole lot of other people. 30 releases on 5 record labels with that music being DJ'd all over the planet by some of the top DJs in the world. I've been played on radio stations with listener bases of 100,000+ people, and own a pretty successful label myself which is on our 28th release this week. Oh, and I have had 120 gigs since January 2007, and probably well over 1000 since the start of my career. I've been on stage with the best of the best in electronic music, and have played numerous times in front of 1000+ people. I am known as a legend and one of the godfathers of the electronic music scene in Omaha, and considered by my peers to be one the best live electronic music DJs and producers in the region, and by far the best and most successful in Omaha. That would kinda make me a rock star. And it was very difficult getting where I am, with around 30 hours a week the past 14 years spent on furthering my career. Juggling that with my 9 to 5, family, training, and fishing gets to be difficult. I think "It's hard being a rock star" fits me perfect.

Nothing bad in knowing you are the best at what you do, especially when you busted your ass to get there.

I completely understand that. I am not trying to cause stuff just so you know. Also do you have a stage name or DJ name?

Aaron Lee is my stage name.

You are right...I can get a little big headed sometimes I try hard to keep it off this forum though...I like to separate my fishing friends from my music/nightlife friends. Two totally different kinds of people. I just happen to be both kinds.

I've never met "Rock Star Aaron Lee." Probably wouldn't care for him much, and I'm sure I wouldn't like his music.

I've fished several times with "Float Tubin', Fly Fishin' Aaron Lee." He's okay.

I don't think anyone on here has met "Rock Star Aaron Lee." I have given two or three peeps some music. Can't act like an idiot 24 hours a day, unless you don't have a job or any hair

I wish I still lived in Nebraska, I would have to hear some of your stuff. I'm a closet electronic music fan. Well, I guess there's no closet about it, I absolutely love mixed music. Its a talent I wish I've always wished I could learn. Producing the tracks used would be even cooler. My step-brother used to produce tracks and mix at a lot of local events and I always wished I could learn it. He never had any labels, just made his own stuff for the small shows.

Who have you all produced tracks for and/or performed with. I must say Fluke or Paul Van Dyke are up there on my list of favorites, but these guys might not be your style not to mention thay aren't even from this side of the pond. If people only knew how much this music was really used day to day in advertising and movies they would have more of an appreciation for it.

Does the Rock Star Aaron Lee have a website? I'd like to check it out.

Just another update on my Bro. He is now 8-1 with two belts. He has the Ring of Torment HVYWT belt and now has the OFC HVYWT belt. The big news is that he will be fighting in the VFC on Dec. 5th. This will be his Victory debut and his 205 debut! He has one more fight at HVYWT, Oct 24th at the Armory.

Good thing I know the owner of that bar, and he knew I wasn't in on the fight.

Most of the real MMA guys I know who fight professionally would never start a fight or act tough in a bar, and are very inconspicuous. MMA isn't about beating someone up or acting tough, but about competition in the ring. It's almost a chess match in my eyes. Just watch the UFC guys, they are for the most part very respectable towards each other. I've had some training and know how to handle myself, as have a lot of my friends, but we would never sit around and act like we could kick everyone's ass in the bar. I hate fighting, it's always a last last last resort with me.

To sum it up, watch out for the guys who don't talk big. They are usually the ones you should worry about

good post....

Not just people, other fighters do that

I think I'm going to start training when I get to Denver in January. Will probably take 2 years to get where I want to be, but it'll be fun!

Just another update on my brother. He is fighting at the VFC event on Dec 5th at the Mid-America Center. This will be his debut at 205 and in this event. He dropped from 245 to 205 to take this fight. He will be fighting a guy named Demetrius Richards who has the exact same record as my bro. They are both 8-1. Should be a great fight! There are alot of great fights on this card so make it out if you can!

Also he fought in a Muay Thai fight 3 weeks ago and won by split decision. So he is 1-1 in muay thai now! I will keep you guys updated.
