Cubs vs Brew Crew

Well tonight is the first of a 4 game series in Milwaukee that is going to make or break it for the ol Cubbies. Tonight vs Sabathia is going to be nuts. That guy is a damn pimp for sure.

With my Cubs poor performance at away games im not feeling good about tonights game. As long as they can take at least 2 games Ill be happy.

Cant believe they totally smoked both the Brewers ace pitchers. Tonights game will be pretty good too. After reading Mark Derosa's blog it sounds like they are almost more cubs fans in the park than brewers fans. Gotta love that.

That's a pretty impressive feat, going into Miller park and beating CC and Sheets on the way to a four game sweep. It's gonna be pretty hard for the Brewers to come back from that.

I'll tell you what, since I don't have a rooting intrest in the NL, I'll root for the Cubs if you root for the Twins(they are gonna need all the help they can get)...figure if your a Cubs fan you probably don't like the sox anyway.

On that subject, can't figure out why the media is making a big deal out of Jr. going there. Now they have what, like 5 glorified DH'S?

Hey I was pulling for the Twins anyway. I do have a passion for hating the white sox if it came down to a all Chicago world series that would be pretty insane. I would bet money there will be people shots and riots would follow especially if the Cubs won.

Dont worry. Schedule hasnt been the easiest and losing some rough games. Astros sure arent no slouch team. Cant win them all right. Bullpen is sure in the crapper right now. Big Z will be up and ready in no time.

Well going on the road now. Usually not our strong end but Cincinatti? Lets just hope it works out like I see it.

Plus as long as the Brew keeps losing at well its still 4.5 games back.

Bad thing is we play St louis and Mil 12 times just this month. This month makes it or breaks it for sure. Going to be down to the wire.

We do play at Mil the last 3 days of the month. Im hoping for a sweep again. That would be great!

I have to agree, the bullpen is just stinking it up. Howry, man, get him out of there right now!

Also, the hitting was very lacking at home agains the Phillies and Astros.

Thank the baseball god above (Harry Carey) that the Brewers just keep losing just like the Cubs! Whats with my Kerry Wood too? He started out the season looking like he couldnt be stopped and I never wanted him put back into the starting rotation.
