I've had LT before. Honestly, I don't like having him (I guess I was thinking the same thing on AP). You ride the guy all season with an overinflated sense of confidence, talking all kinds of trash. Then, the FF playoffs come and they coincide with the tail end of the regular season and the guy falls apart because he's more about self than team or he gets benched to rest for the playoffs and your season goes down the drain.

Manning is one of the ones who usually get to rest the last game or two at the end of the season.....don't know if it's truly for rest or his contract with Mastercard

His rest depends on their record. I'm gambling there won't be any rest at the end of this season.

Yup...I did. The Bears dominated but Manning still threw for 257 (short) yards and didn't look bad for not playing the pre-season. I'd think most people would much rather have Manning now than Brady.

Goin out on a limb with that one

Could have had countless RB's and gotten Manning in the second round, or Romo or Brees which will probably put up similar numbers.

I still don't think you watched that game...just seen the box score

It was actually the one game I did watch.

In one of my fantasy leagues I went up against a guy who's pretty arrogant. He had the Colt's D and I had the Bears D (and talked smack about this too). He also had Addai and talked smack all the way to the second half.

I won big but it was great to watch his Colt's D score 2points where my Bears racked up 20.

Anyway, I don't think you were getting the point and irony. It wasn't about picking Manning first, but picking him and not picking Brady and then getting teased about it. Then Bob's words back firing against him.
