I love it!

SAVE THE BLATT!

Go LSU!

My father in law is boycotting it this year because of the new stadium.

Went yesterday. Gotta love sitting 6 rows up from first base. Wish I had more time to go to more games.

Haven't gone yet (although lots of free tickets have been thrown my way), and I don't plan on going. I don't like baseball, and so the idea of sitting through 9 innings while it's hot (although, it hasn't been too bad weather so far) with people crammed into the stands like sardines doesn't sound like my idea of fun. I don't follow it on TV, and quite frankly, I have no idea what teams are playing.

I'm also kind of annoyed about the new stadium being built. It's rumored that taxes won't be increased, but we all know how that goes. I just don't want to have to pay for something I couldn't care less about.

But it's good to see that some people are enjoying the CWS. Go (insert team that is in the CWS here)!!!!

I really don't want the new stadium either. I don't think anyone is gaining anything from it. I am kinda anxious/curious to see where the parking is gonna be after the parking lot fills up. Not exactly the best part of town to be parking your car and walking 8 blocks.

Glad i decided at the last moment to not go and instead go this weekend sometime. They are on rain delay AGAIN and not sure what is going to happen if its delayed another day. I hope it is delayed. I want a for sure game on Sunday and then the championship extended to Thursday. Then I can watch game 2 of the championship and possibly 3 as well.

I've been down there three days. Last Saturday I went for the night game, sat 5 rows up along the first base line. Then I was there all day Tuesday, the LSU game where they won in the bottom of the 9th was crazy. Those LSU fans are great.

I also went Thursday night, the lightning and rain started in teh top of the 1st. We ended up waiting it out in the concourse (we weren't sure if the beer gardens were even open anymore). At 9:30 they announced the game was postponed till the next day.

I tell ya what, it's painful driving from Lincoln to Omaha that often with gas prices the way they are, but it's worth it. College baseball is an awesome sport to watch.

I love the series too and for me, it's been the most exciting series in years especially with all the close games but I am so disappointed in the turn out for the games. I know the new scheduling has a lot to do with it as well as the new stadium issue but this is supposed to be the event of the year for omaha and nobody is around. I will tell you this, with or without a new stadium, if butts aren't in the seats- bye-bye CWS in Omaha, no matter how long the contract is for you can always find a way out. It rediculous, did you see that there were almost 2 full sections of reserved seats in left field that were empty for a championship game!! It was great for me I paid $5 for a reserved seat to a NCAA Championship event, can't beat that.

I gotta agree. I ask lots of people if they have ever been and most say no and the #1 thing they tell me is "well.................. ive been to an OMaha Royals game and it just isnt any fun." And they are right! The CWS is a totally different experience.

I think everyone should bring their kids at least once and if you dont have kids find some. The atmospere is awesome also the way the tourney is setup. Too bad they didnt have a college football tourney like that. These kids are out their playing to win too. Not out playing for money.

I seen the reserved seats empty. I wonder since the games got rain delayed a day back if a lot of people had scheduling conflicts. Now I just gotta hope it gets delayed tonight so I can go to Game 2 on WEd. YES!

I'm disappointed in the empty seats as well. Tonight's game was crazy, that was a lot of runs, I can't believe the fight Fresno State has been putting up. Ty, you going to the game now that there's one on Wednesday? I'm on a business trip, or else I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Well I just woke up so Im not really sure. I texted 8 freinds this morning before I went back and nobody else can go. Dont really know if I want to make another trip down there or not. Plus my good seats I got the other night off Ebay are going for way too much right now.

Sounds like I will be watching on Espn.
