Cornhuskers: 8-4 Reasonable (Sipple)

I was just perusing LJS and came across this article: HuskerExtra.com - Lincoln, Nebraska - Huskerextra - Football

Consider their schedule:
Western Michigan W
San Jose State W
New Mexico State W
Virginia Tech W/L?
Missouri L
at Texas Tech L
at Iowa State W
Baylor W
at Oklahoma L
Kansas W/L?
at Kansas State W
Colorado W

The first three games will hopefully be "gimme" games, however, anything can happen in college football, so it's important we play hard on all three games.

Missouri, TT, and Oklahoma will be losses. Those teams are going to be looking good, and I would definitely keep my eye on TT this year. Kansas and VT are swing games - it's hard to say how they will turn out.

So, I would have to agree with Sipple. I think 8-4 is realistic; anything over that is just icing on the cake. 7-5 is acceptable, and all things considering, would be a great first season for Bo.

Colorado Win but barely. This game could bust our season.

I have us going 9-2 going into the CU game. With a win we go to Big 12 championship game against OU. We lose and Missouri goes. CU scares me.
