Default Bo Taking It All In

At work, we've been commenting on how Bo shows up at many of the N.U. basketball games, baseball games, etc. He's there in the stands all the time. We're interpreting this as a really good thing - he's a Nebraska fan through and through, not just a football coach for the sake of the job. We don't remember seeing Bill Callahan at any other NU events. Anyone know if he ever went to any?

No, I am not sure. But I do know one thing. When bo didn't get hired the first time, it was a bad thing that turned out to be good. Yes, loosing seasons, lost fans, ect is bad but Bo went on to learn from/with B Stoops, who, even if you don't like him, you have to respect him as a coach. They did good that year. Then on to LSU with Les Myles (spelling) and Co.. With a nat. champ. there. So it was a 5 year learning stint for him. He reunites with TO while the huskers are down in the mouth, wondering if we will ever be like we use to be. Comes in with fire and emotion. I have a REALLY good feeling about this change. Perhaps we will never be the team as of in the 90's but the darkest days are behind us and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Does anyone know if the game on sat will be on TV?

I don't remember seeing Billy at any sporting events other then football. I have said the same thing to others that it is neat to see Bo supporting the other sports. I also think it is cool that at the bball game and the wrestling meet he was with his kids.

In his first spring at NU I saw him at an NU Baseball game at Haymarket Park. No BS........ there was a rain delay and as people were trying to get to cover, he played the "do you know who I am" with a stadium attendant. I laughed and said to my wife, "clearly he has no idea who he is". We and the guy in front of us laughed.
