Default 2013 Morel Mushroom Reports (Sticky?)

Looks like the next couple days they should be really popping. Went out this afternoon and found a few, most smaller than these, but they are up none the less!

Eagle eyes! I don't know how anyone can find them that small! I ran into two elderly women on public land near Genoa 5 years ago who had maybe a pound of tiny morels. I thought it was too early because I didn't find any in the hour I had been searching. They had fresh "hiking" sticks they were using to turn over leaves to find them. Some people just know what they're doing I guess!

Found them around Lincoln, I think it'll be a couple days yet before they are big enough to pick though....

Picked a handful of ice cold morels this morning, made a snow angel, and fired up my lawn mower for this afternoon....

I feel like the snow is only gonna make them grow more!!!!!

Went out with EPB tonight and found 189 in about 3 hours. Most were pretty small.

I found about 30 today in a quick short walk. Most were less than 30 ft from my truck.
