Looks like the Jays just knocked out one of those more physical and atheletic Big East teams on a neutral court.

I hope their result against Duke is the same!

Since I'm here, sorry Creighton Fans, I don't see them beating Duke. Haven't watched ANY games, will probably wait 'til the final four.

Congrats to Creighton on their win vs Cincy Fri. We went to a local establishment for the game and the place was packed and rockin'. Great atmosphere for March Madness. Anyway classic physical game vs a Big East foe, who couldn't score to save their lives, and a big win for CU. Any win in the Tournament is a great win.
As for the Dukies.... The only thing that game tells me is a Dougie Mac needs to come back for his Senior year and polish his game and CU needs more help for Doug. ESPECIALLY next year in conf. If the Duke guys could basically shut down McD completely in the 2nd half imagine what the NBA players, when they do decide to play defense during a game, would do to him. AND he got almost zero help last nite which is prob more a credit to Coach K's defensive gameplan than a knock on the current CU players.
Hey it was still a great season Sweet 16 or not. I bet there's about 260-some teams that would trade places with them this year in a heartbeat!

Yep, Tubby's gone...just a year after he was given an extension.

Hopefully the new AD, who came from VCU, can lure Shaka Smart to the Big10... Names like Smart, Flip Saunders and Buzz Williams from Marquette have been speculated so far.

And yes congrats to the jays for a great season. As far as the duke game they simply played stupid. Duke was handing them the 10 to 12 foot jumper all night and CU was afraid to take it. Plus they had all 3 big men for duke in foul trouble and stuck with the perimeter game. Yes I know that's their game but in those games you have to adapt and CU has shown all year they can't and that's why they get beat. When your team is 1 for 15 for 3's early in the second half maybe you should try a different style. Force the issue and get the 5th foul in those big guys, seemed to me it would worth it.
