Default Kids White Perch tourny 2013

Bigger and better!!!! The date is set June 29th 9am-12pm. Sign ups starting at 7am. I have a flyer made and will post asap. This year will be bigger and better! That means more volunteers and donations are needed. If your willing to help in anyway contact me. I would love to have the same volunteers I did last year plus another 20. Lets make this the biggest and best kids event in NE. No donation or amount of help is to small. I just received confirmation of a donation all the way from Florida for this! Sparky 101 liked the hog so much he just offered to clean fish again!!!! Sucker... Lol. Spread the word on this event to everyone you know. The NEFGA and NE youth fishing program will again be involved this year. A BIG thanks to them. Thanks Randy Tambke.

    I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Anyone who would like to make a tax deductible donation to this event can send it to NEFGA via cash, check or Paypal. We'll make sure 100% of your donation goes directly to the White Perch Tourny. Be sure to identify the donation as going to the White Perch Tourny.

Also, it would be appreciated if you send Snowgoose and I both a PM about your donation. That way we know for sure where the money is going and Randy knows how much to expect.

Ill be there again! Gathering and counting fish was a blast. Would you rather $ donations over items for giveaway this year? Or either? I'm sure this thing will double, Eric and I will need a JD Gator to collect fish. Arms a little tired last year.....

I/we will take anything we can get. It takes prizes and cash both to make this happen. If someone would rather buy a 20.00 combo etc that is fine. If they want to donate cash that will be used for the lifetime permit, food, more prizes or where ever it is needed that is fine also. It took a ball park of 1300 plus the doantion of the pig, water, ice, condiments and a ton of prizes last year to pull this off and this year I expect to be even bigger. I think we may be able to pull off a 4 wheeler for fish collectors this year. That mean I can list you as a volunteer Cartmatt? We learned alot last year and will use that to make this year run smoother. Probably the biggest issue we had was cleaning fish. If you are good w a knife..... Id like to have 10 guys doing that this year. 2 shifts 5 guys would be ideal. Once again we will have tsirts for the staff I know that drew a few bystanders in to help out.. Dont you need a new tshirt fishtrap??

The 1st on the list sponsor of the year is Sandfly..... They have donated 2 fishing classes valued at 50.00 for a fishing class of your choice. Fly fishing, trolling, catfishing, etc. More details to come on that. I have confirmation of a doanation all the way from Florida.... In memory of Nathan Jay Colby. For anyone that has facebook there is also a Branched Oak Kids White Perch Tournament page that I keep updates on.

I'll be there again volunteering, Nicole might be out as a volunteer because she'll be helping the girls catch fish.

I'll probably help again this year, except I AM NOT CLEANING FISH!

But I want an easy job, like a TSA pointer at the airport: "Have your boarding pass, and ID ready when entering this line"

WORK: is that annoying time between fishing trips.

I guess I'm doing OK, I have 3 pigeons named after me in Japan?

Although most of us would prefer Nicole at the HQ, I do respect your decision that will clearly get the girls on fish with the greater chance for them to thin them out.

Snowgoose, I would love to help again this year... I think my two year old might want to come enjoy the day and fish though. If she does, I probably won't be able to help too much.

If that is the case, I would like to help in other ways. I'll either pitch in some money or buy a door prize.

Here is a creative option... I would be willing to tie a box of flies to give away... don't know if you would be interested in that...
