Welcome Matt. I am in SE NE in the Omaha area, but I will try to assist as best I can. I have to tell you, I had the opportunity to lodge in Lake Jackson(Jackson Hole) during the off ski season and saw some guys fishing trout in Lk Jackson near the dam. My mouth watered and all I wished was that I had a pole and license but was there on business! Also, there are lots of catfishermen on this site. I fish mostly panfish but will go for kitties occasionally.

Welcome, Matt! I just recently met some pretty big outdoorsmen from Douglas. A Father/Son combo that are chiropractors in town. Son's name was Justin. You know them?

Hi Matt, noticed you are from Douglas Wyoming, I've been hunting out there the past 15 yrs or so...last there in 2010, and headed back out next fall...I can't help you with cat fishing in NE but I can sure help with fishing in Michigan. I've thought about fishing the Platte as well as the Glendo Reservoir, but have not fished either, as we are usually busy with the hunt.
