    Default PVC Ice Rod Holder

A year or two ago someone made an ice rod holder out of PVC that was pretty nifty, my clam chair can only hold so many rods so I was thinking about making one of these. I think it held like 4 or 5 rods. Can't seem to find the thread though. Anyone remember what I'm talking about? Or who made it?
    Thanks in advance

I'm a member at iceshanty, thought maybe it was on that site but I already checked, I'm pretty sure it was on here, and I can't find anything like it on google.

Thanks, but thats not it. It was more like a rod protector than a holder. It held like 4 or 5 rods just for transporting. Guess I should have said that in my first post.

I glued some PVC to the outside of my bucket. In the end, i ripped them off and glued them to the inside of the bucket. Hot glue does not hold up to the cold.
Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.

I think Rollin' Thunder , I mean Big Johnson had a post about an ice rod holder that was PVC tubes in a Wood frame on here at one time. I have done some searches and for the life of me, I can't find it.

I think I am going to go with a Breakdown Shotgun Case for storage and add a couple tubes to the outside of the bucket for when on the ice.

Chuck tritz are you going to use this for your rods only? Or are you planning on leaving the reels on? Rob

    Nedyarb

The slits cut at the ends of the tubes allow the reels to stay on the rods. The reels are on the outside of the tubes.

    Right on.

Chuck has so many Ice fishing rods he doesnt have to retie or rebait when he's on the ice.

Want to try a different jig style, color, size? Grab a different rod.

Lose a waxy? Gill swallow a minnow head? Throw the old one out and grab a different rod.

Yep after I catch the fish, I just throw the whole thing back. Rod and all.
