Default Nebraska/Iowa Missouri River Fishing Access

Anyone know of any access points in Iowa or Nebraska on the Missouri? Within an hour of Omaha???

I know Schillings in Plattsmouth doesnt open for fishing until April - are there other bank access areas in Plattsmouth? Wilson Island - is that up near De Soto?

Blair's ramp is under the bridge and very nice. Wilson's Island is about 5 miles south of that on the Iowa side. You can get to it from I29 if coming from Omaha.

I have bank fished the river off and on for the past few years. I haven't had much luck at Boyer since 2003. Now that there is more water flowing in there it may be better. Wilson island has good bank fishing and the wing dams around there have some deep holes. There is a small chute by the blair boat ramp that has some spots to fish, I'm sure at the right time it would be good. Across from the blair boat ramp has some bank spots, it just depends on how far down or up river you want to walk. Tobacco island has some fishing, but it's a walk to get there. Schilling has alot of bank spots, but I've never fished them. You can easily spend a weekend fishing all the spots I've listed!

Not sure what all you're looking for or hard you want to fish, so PM if you want more info.
