Default Mercury 25hp tiller off switch?

I bought a 25hp Mercury tiller electric start motor from the early to mid 1980s. Is there an on off switch somewhere? It has a start button on the tiller handle for the electric start, but I don't see anywhere to shut it off, other than the choke. Any suggestions?

There should be a red button in the middle of the end of the remote handle. Depending on the year of course.
