Default Fort Hartsuff to Host Re-Enactment

NGPC news release, 5/18/09:

LINCOLN, Neb. – A re-enactment of the Indian Wars period will be on display at Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park on Memorial Day weekend.

The Fremont Pathfinders re-enactment group will portray Army soldiers of Company A, 23rd Infantry. The 30-50 soldiers will be at the fort May 22-24. They will be bringing a Gatling gun, 3-inch Parrot Rifle and a Howitzer. They will be using these cannons during the Saturday Night Shoot at 9:30 p.m.

A park entry permit is required.
