Default Some Lifetime, Hunting Permit Fees Increased

NGPC news release, 10/30/08:

LINCOLN, Neb. – Some fee increases for deer, turkey, elk, antelope and lifetime permits were approved Thursday by the Nebraska Game and Parks Board of Commissioners.

Also, a new $1 fee was approved for electronically issued annual and duplicate annual park entry permits sold online. A new $5 application fee for antelope permits also was approved.

Following is a list of fee changes, with permit type, 2008 fee, and the new fee for 2009:

Lifetime Permits
resident hunt (age 0-5), $125, 147.50
resident hunt (age 6-15), $185, 218
resident hunt (age 16-45), $285, 299
resident hunt (age 46-plus), $185, 218
resident fish (age 0-5), $175, 206.50
resident fish (age 6-15), $225, 265.50
resident fish (age 16-45), $325, 345
resident fish (age 46-plus), $225, 265.50
resident fish/hunt (age 0-5), $275, 324.50
resident fish/hunt (age 6-15), $400, 472
resident fish/hunt (age 16-45), $545, 598
resident fish/hunt (age 46-plus), $400, 472
nonresident hunt (age 0-16), $625, 737.50
nonresident hunt (age 17-plus) $1,000, 1,180
nonresident fish (age 0-16), $450, 531
nonresident fish (age 17-plus), $750, 850
nonresident fish/hunt (age 0-16), $975, 1,150.50
nonresident fish/hunt (age 17-plus), $1,500, 1,770

Lifetime permits that allow fishing require a $100 lifetime Aquatic Habitat Stamp that is not included in the above fees.

Turkey Permits

nonresident landowner spring turkey, $42.50, 45

The new fees for lifetime permit are effective Jan. 1, 2009. The new fees for deer, antelope, elk, and turkey permits are effective with the sale of 2009 hunting seasons.
