Controlled Burn Meeting Canceled at Chadron State Park

NGPC news release, 10/10/08:

CHADRON, Neb. – Nebraska Game and Parks Commission park managers have canceled plans to conduct a controlled burn on Chadron State Park (SP) as part of the park’s continuing forest management program and a public meeting scheduled for Oct. 20 has also been canceled, according to Dave Kinnamon, park superintendent. "We still intend to conduct slash pile burning this winter with appropriate snow cover."
