LINCOLN, Neb. There are a number of outdoor events and activities on tap across Nebraska. Here are some you and your family may want to attend or participate in during March. Many boating safety courses are scheduled. The Nebraska Boating Safety Course is required for boat operators under the age of 18. You must be 14 years of age to operate a motorboat in Nebraska. March 4-5 Boating Safety Course, 6:30-9:30 p.m., Iowa Western Community College, Looft Hall, Rm. 10, 2700 College Rd., Council Bluffs, Iowa; $10 fee; call (712) 325-3255.
