Default Hunter Ed Class in Lincoln for Adults Hunting in Mountain States

NGPC news release, 2/13/08:

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled a hunter education class in Lincoln on March 8 and 9 for adults who will be going out of state this fall to hunt in the mountains, according to Mike Streeter, Nebraska Hunter Education Coordinator.

Streeter said this two-day class is designed for adults who are required to have a firearm hunter education class to hunt in another state meet that requirement, even though they are not required to attend a hunter education class to hunt in Nebraska.

The class will also present information and skills hunters need to hunt in an extreme environment that aren’t necessary to hunt in Nebraska. The class will be 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission boating area at Northeast Commercial Complex, 4817 N. 56th St., Ste. No. 1. Registration is required. To register contact Streeter at (402) 471-6134, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on week days.
