Went up to our usual opening day spot in South Dakota. Did pretty well for the 2 days that we were there. Saw a lot of birds and a couple are making their way to my belly.:d

Were you hunting public or private land?

Nice Roosters. Wish we had them like that in Nebraska.

Mike,

We were hunting private land by Brooking's. It is about time for me to repay you with a little quail hunt, isn't it?

Great photos! looks like a good time was had by all. We spent Sat. chasing roosters for youth. Lots of good points, lots of missed shots, LOTS of fun by all. Didnt hit a bird, but two young men tried their hearts out. Soaked to the bone and didnt want to quit.

They worked well. The old man is starting to show his age.
