Question Kansas Public Hunting

I was down in Kansas over the weekend and ran into some public hunting ground by Milford Lake next to the Republican River. I was curious if anyone has hunted there before or knows how good the duck and goose hunting is around Smith Bottoms and Mall Creek Bottoms? Or if there is a ton of pressure in that area?

A guy at work said it looked really good. Lots of area. Hard to access with a boat though. I hear you can't have a motorized boat in Smith bottoms..
