My dad sent me these pics of a buck hit by a car near Alma, MI. I guess they had quite the time figuring out what they were tracking. :zbghead:

and this whole time we thought the buck kept sliding a lot.

I wonder if the buck spent it's whole life in a swamp and Golf Course?

Wow!! I've seen something like that in our cattle before but cant think of what had caused it, but the hooves never stuck out that far maybe 2 inches.

That is strange.

I'm pretty sure that's foundering. We have a cow that has hooves longer than that deer's hooves. Darn thing can hardly walk.

My toenails look like that about the end of February.

my grandfather had a sheep that had that same problem with his hooves. he said that the ram got into the corn and ate too much of it. i was young at the time and never thought to check it out, but that deer kinda remended me of that.
