![]() ![]() I finally installed a peep site! I still need to check the sights with the target aperature I have, once that's done I will swap it out with a much larger hunting aperature. Sorry, no scope! ![]()

Yes it is chuck. I installed a Mossberb S331 rear peep site that I picked up at a gun show 8-10 years ago. I had to tap and drill two 10-32 holes at the back end of the bolt area and remove a small portion of the stock. The sight window is very much improved now, I can't wait to go try it out, it should greatly improve the accuracy of my ML.

Hopefully the new peep site will shrink the 3" group I had at 100 yards down just a little bit.

Shorty,
The peep looks great. Please let us know how this turns out. I would like to go mzl hunting for elk in Co within the next few years and open sights don't work well for me. I use a single power in NE and that does work fine. 3" pattern at 100 yds is pretty darn good w/open sights. Thanks chuck |

fishnguy, keep in mind that the 3" group comes from shooting from a bench rest at one of Ikes sight in days. What happens in the field during a hunt is usually much different.
